Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Architecture & Engineering Head to provide strategic direction and technical leadership across its security landscape.

The role oversees Security Architecture, Application Security, Platform & Cloud Security, and Security & Fraud Product Management, driving security transformation and embedding security into technology and business decisions. Leadership and deep technical depth are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 10+ years of information security experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Strong track record in security architecture and engineering.
• Experience leading security initiatives across complex enterprise technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Set the overall direction and roadmap for security architecture and engineering initiatives.
• Translate business objectives into practical security strategies and technology solutions.
• Work with senior stakeholders across Technology, Product, Risk, and other functions.
• Provide guidance on emerging cybersecurity technologies and evolving security practices.
• Drive initiatives that improve the organization's security maturity.
• Establish and improve security architecture standards and principles.
• Incorporate security into design of applications, systems, and platforms.
• Review security-related architecture decisions and governance.
• Promote a secure-by-design approach across initiatives.
• Lead secure coding, testing, and remediation across development lifecycles.
• Oversee cloud, infrastructure, and platform security controls.
• Define IAM, endpoint, network security, and cloud protections.
• Lead security product roadmaps and risk/compliance alignment.
