SMEC Services Pty Limited in Pasig, NCR invites an experienced Chief Resident Engineer-Lower Works (Intl Expert) for Project P to lead dam and hydropower construction on international donor-funded programs.

The role demands 10+ years in civil construction, proven management of large contractors, and strong knowledge of FIDIC, BIM, and environmental safeguards; willingness to work onsite in a global project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer.
• Construction Safety Training (OSH/NEBOSH or equivalent).
• Master’s in Dam, Geotechnical, or Hydraulic Engineering.
• PMP or Project Management certification.
• FIDIC certification.
• Dam safety or tunnelling training.
• Minimum 10 years in civil construction.
• At least 10 years in dam or hydropower projects.
• Experience as Resident Engineer/Deputy on major projects.
• Experience in tunnels, cofferdams, diversion, spillways, foundations.
• Experience managing large contractors.
• Experience on donor-funded or international projects preferred.
• BIM/digital construction tools.
• Environmental safeguards.
• Claims management.
• Multilingual communication.
• Experience with MDB projects.
