Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Learn and execute operational duties of Financial Operations including Accounts Payable, Cash Processing, Collections, GL Reconciliation, etc.
- Execute on ad hoc tasks and departmental projects.
- Drive continuous improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Work on assigned special projects with emphasis on time management and optimal results.
- Communicate with confidence, ensuring information presented is accurate.
- Participate in team meetings.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Current college students working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Accounting.
- Students in their junior year or incoming final year of university (graduating by Spring or Summer 2027).
- Applicants open to voluntary or required internships as part of their academic program.
- Good academic standing.
- Strong attention to detail and a mindset to complete tasks and assignments.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a third day unique to each team or employee).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and classified information.
- Strong work ethic.
- Preferred: work or internship experience in a professional setting.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter with ability to grasp new concepts.
- Proficient computer and technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Strong interest in the financial services industry; previous internship experience is a strong plus.
