Job summary

Morgan McKinley in the Philippines seeks an accomplished Cybersecurity Leader to transform a large enterprise security organisation. The role strengthens cyber resilience, security operations and enterprise security capabilities while driving transformation and engaging senior stakeholders across the organisation.

The position leads a sizeable cybersecurity organisation, delivering strategic direction, governance and advanced security capabilities to protect critical systems and data.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience across Cybersecurity, Cyber Defence, Security Operations or related functions.
• Proven track record leading sizeable cybersecurity teams or complex security programmes.
• Strong understanding of Security Operations, Incident Response, Cyber Resilience and Enterprise Security.
• Experience driving cybersecurity transformation and improving operating models.
• Good understanding of governance, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with cloud security, security automation or AI-enabled security operations would be advantageous.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience managing major cyber incidents in high-pressure environments.
• Exposure to managed security services or customer-facing security delivery would be advantageous but not essential.
• Strong leadership capability with a history of developing high-performing cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organisation's cybersecurity strategy and transformation roadmap.
• Lead and develop a large, multi-disciplinary cybersecurity organisation.
• Provide leadership across Cyber Defence / Security Operations, Incident Response, Enterprise Security and Security Governance.
• Strengthen SOC and cyber defence capabilities, including threat detection and incident response.
• Drive continuous improvement across security operations, processes, technology and service delivery.
• Provide senior-level cybersecurity advice and assurance for major technology initiatives.
• Act as a senior escalation point for significant cybersecurity incidents and risks.
• Strengthen cyber governance, risk management, regulatory compliance and resilience.
• Drive adoption of automation, AI and modern security technologies.
• Partner with senior Technology, Risk, Audit and business stakeholders to strengthen security posture.
• Build and develop strong cybersecurity leadership and specialist capabilities.
