Apo Agua Infrastructura, Inc. is seeking a Chemist to conduct physico-chemical, organic, and inorganic tests on water samples in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

The role requires a Registered Chemist with 1-2 years in an analytical lab, proficiency in testing drinking water and effluent parameters, and competence with UV-Vis, ICP-MS, and GC-MS instrumentation. An NRL Water Sampler certification is a plus.

Formación

• Must be a Registered Chemist.
• 1-2 years' experience in an analytical laboratory setting, preferably in water and wastewater analysis.
• Proficient with physico-chemical testing for drinking water parameters and testing for effluent parameters.
• Competence with lab instrumentation (UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, ICP-MS, GC-MS).
• NRL Certified Water Sampler is an advantage.

Descripción del empleo

The Chemist is responsible for conducting physico-chemical, organic, and inorganic chemical tests on raw water, processed water, plant-treated water, water in the distribution system and service reservoirs, as well as samples from private entities and environmental sources. These tests must be performed in compliance with PNSDW, DOH, DENR, and other regulatory requirements, as well as company standards.

The Chemist ensures the accuracy and reliability of test results and their timely release in accordance with the Standard Laboratory Management System, company procedures, and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Chemist.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an analytical laboratory setting, preferably in water and wastewater analysis.
• Proficient with Physico-Chemical testing for drinking water parameters and testing for effluent parameters.
• Competence with lab instrumentation. (i.e.: UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, ICP-MS, or GC-MS)
• NRL Certified Water Sampler is an advantage.
