Infinit-O Group is seeking a Charge Entry Specialist for a remote role to support healthcare clients by accurately entering patient demographics, insurance data, and charges into practice management and EHR systems. The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years of medical billing experience and strong numeric, detail-oriented skills.

The role requires ownership of work queues, ability to work independently, and adherence to HIPAA and client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of medical charge entry, billing, or revenue cycle experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience in charge entry for general outpatient specialties, including Primary Care, Psychiatry, Gastroenterology.
• Hands-on experience using PM/EHR systems such as Tebra, SimplePractice, Practice.
• High level of self-direction, taking ownership of assigned work queues with minimal supervision.
• Excellent numeric and alphanumeric data entry skills and solid grasp of medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Review encounter documentation, superbills, and charge tickets for completeness and proper fee schedule application.

Position Summary

The Charge Entry Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely entry,
verification, and processing of patient demographic, insurance, and charge billing
data into practice management systems. This position plays a critical role in
ensuring clean claim submission and smooth revenue cycle operations. The ideal
candidate is detail-oriented, highly accountable, and self-driven, capable of taking
true ownership of work without requiring constant task assignment or monitoring.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter clinical charges, patient demographics, and insurance information into Practice Management (PM) / EHR systems with high speed and accuracy.
• Review medical encounter documentation, superbills, and charge tickets for completeness, accuracy, and proper fee schedule application prior to entry.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and patient responsibility details as needed.
• Identify missing documentation, missing modifiers, or coding inconsistencies and flag them for clarification.
• Perform daily charge audits and reconciliation of charge batches against provider schedules and log sheets.
• Correct charge-level pre-billing edits and clearinghouse rejections prior to

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 to 2+ years of medical charge entry, billing, or revenue cycle experience in a healthcare environment.
• Specialty Background: Experience in charge entry for general outpatient specialties, including Primary Care, Psychiatry, Gastroenterology,

• Accountability & Ownership: High level of self-direction, taking true ownership of assigned work queues, running with tasks independently, and requiring minimal supervision.
• Skills: Excellent numeric and alphanumeric data entry skills, strong attention to detail, and solid grasp of medical terminology and charge
• Probationary Requirement: Must successfully demonstrate productivity, accuracy, and reliability during an initial 90-day probation period.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an outsourced RCM or multi-specialty billing setting.
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and modifier usage guidelines.
