Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Change and Release Coordinator to support the Service Operations Change and Release team in its hybrid Manila office. You will ensure efficient delivery of changes into customer environments in line with Datacom’s governance framework.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders and experience managing change across accounts. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in change management, ITIL4 certification, and a proven ability to chair CAB forums and drive process

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in change management.
  • Experience managing end-to-end change control processes.
  • Ability to influence management and stakeholders in change processes.
  • Chaired CAB forums or participated in CAB discussions.
  • Experience with process governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage lifecycle of change requests across accounts as directed by Practice Lead – Change & Release Management.
  • Provide analysis and input to change management reports.
  • Assist in validating failed changes and follow up on Post Change Review documentation.
  • Follow up on approvals for Changes as required.
  • Create and issue Forward Schedule of Change & Release for service delivery to customers.
  • Chair or participate in CAB meetings and PIRs as appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Maintain and update change and release process documents in approved repositories.
  • Prepare training materials and guide end-users to ensure process adherence.

Role Overview

The Change and Release Coordinator is responsible for providing professional support to the Service Operations Change and Release team. The Change and Release coordinator role is to ensure efficient and effective delivery of Changes into a customer environment in accordance with Datacom’s process and governance framework.

Role Responsibilities

The Change and Release Coordinator is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Effectively manage the lifecycle of change requests across single and/or multiple accounts as directed from the Practice Lead – Change & Release Management
  • Providing analysis & input to appropriate change management reports as directed
  • Assist in validating failed changes due to technical or process failure and follow up on PCR (Post Change Review) documentation as required
  • Assist in following up of approvals for Changes as required
  • Responsible for creating and issuing the Forward Schedule of Change & Release for the process delivery of the services to the customers both internal and external as required
  • May be required to chair or participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings and other change-related meetings such as Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs), as appropriate
  • Identifying opportunities for Service improvement to build a culture of service excellence
  • Manage & maintain Datacom change and release process, guidelines and other authorized documentation and ensure stored in approved repository
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials and provide guidance to end-users to support process adherence
Requirements
Knowledge
  • Good understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end Change control process
  • Ability to influence management and key stakeholders in all aspects of the change process
Experience
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Previous exposure to change management principles.
  • Participated and/or Chaired CAB forums
  • Experience with process governance and compliance
Skills
  • Strong and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels including customer level
  • Assures adherence to process and performance requirements.
