Job summary

Merck Group in Taguig, Philippines, seeks an Associate Accounting Business Partner to serve as the single contact for CFOs of multiple entities and to ensure timely, compliant financial statements aligned with local laws and Group guidelines.

You will work closely with centralized accounting, Tax, and Treasury teams, monitor financial developments, and take responsibility for audits and project support while strengthening management reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business-related discipline is required.
Knowledge of IFRS and accounting processes; tax regulations understanding.
Experience with SAP/BI and financial analytics is a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with management.
End-to-end understanding of financials and ability to liaise with CFOs.

Responsibilities

Act as single point of contact for CFOs of assigned legal entities.
Prepare and ensure accuracy of financial statements per local regulations and Group guidelines.
Collaborate with centralized accounting, Tax, Treasury, and other Group Functions.
Inform CFOs about financial developments and manage assigned activities.
Coordinate financial and tax audits and support projects as needed.
