We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant to join WRN Health Incorporated in Davao City, Davao del Sur on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal position within our Financial Accounting & Reporting function, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and compliance of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing accounting operations, and supporting strategic financial decision-making across the healthcare organization. Your expertise and attention to detail will be fundamental to our continued success and regulatory compliance.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Record, classify, and post daily financial transactions to the general ledger and subsidiary accounts
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections activities
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, healthcare regulations, and internal control policies
Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to aid management decision-making
Conduct journal entry reviews and ensure the accuracy of financial data across all systems
Assist in external audit activities and respond to audit inquiries with supporting documentation
Maintain detailed accounting records and documentation to support all financial transactions
Identify process improvements and recommend enhancements to accounting procedures and controls
Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is essential
Minimum of 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in financial accounting and reporting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and generally accepted accounting standards (GAAS)
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity
Solid understanding of healthcare industry accounting practices and regulatory compliance requirements (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and provide solutions
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across departments
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
