Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company in the Philippines is seeking a Cell Lead (First Line Manager) to provide governance for semi-autonomous teams within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

You will monitor performance, drive improvements in operational processes, and liaise with Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Quality and Safety to ensure safe, reliable production.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end manufacturing within FMCG environments.
• Strong mechanical skills with ability to diagnose issues quickly.
• Proven coaching, mentoring and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

The role The Cell Lead (First Line Manager) is a management professional with a good technical understanding of manufacturing, general or chemical engineering or food technology.

What you'll be responsible for Provide the governance function for a cluster of semi-autonomous teams, delivering management and leadership support for performance monitoring, overtime allocation, working patterns and dispute resolution. Retain responsibility for the Technical and Basic Operators within the semi-autonomous team but is not involved in the day to day team management beyond the monitoring and performance management role. Lead improvement projects for operational processes Interpret technical diagnostics in chemical and electro-mechanical processes and controls, identify key issues, and process risks Drive semi-autonomous team’s work and eradicate waste to counter losses by using their ICMS methodologies and IP Processes. Provide common standard of communication and engagement across the factory. You will liaise closely with the core factory functions, including Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Quality and Safety to achieve this.
