Job summary

City People Solutions Inc. is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise data warehouses for BI and analytics.

You will build scalable pipelines, optimize ETL/ELT processes, model data, ensure governance and data quality, and collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and app teams across cloud and on-prem environments.

This role demands strong SQL, scripting skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years in data warehousing, data engineering, or DB development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling knowledge.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, SSIS, Talend, Data Factory).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance; location Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse architectures and data pipelines.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Develop and maintain dimensional and relational data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, data scientists, and app teams to understand data needs.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across data warehouse environments.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, storage, and query execution.
• Implement data integration solutions using cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and process workflows.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support BI tools by providing reliable datasets and datasets structures.
• Implement security controls and ensure governance standards are followed.
• Participate in data architecture planning and platform upgrades.
