Job summary

AMCS Group is seeking a Data Engineer in Cebu to design and implement robust data pipelines, transforming raw data from CRM/ERP into a governed data lake and dimensional models. You will work with Azure services, Databricks, and dbt-style frameworks to ensure data quality and scalability.

You will collaborate with BI and analytics teams to align curated data feeds with dashboards and reports, while maintaining documentation and history-tracking where needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with a SQL-based transformation framework (e.g., dbt or similar) building layered models (staging → marts).
• Strong SQL with CTEs, window functions, and dimensional modeling patterns.
• Experience building ingestion/extraction pipelines from APIs/databases (custom code, connectors, or CDC).
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse or lakehouse (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
• Experience with a workflow orchestration tool and Git-based CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ELT processes.
• Build a layered transformation model from raw data to marts.
• Migrate legacy reports’ transformations into the new framework with validation.
• Develop ingestion pipelines from business systems into the data lake.
• Orchestrate cross-system data extraction and modeling workflows.
• Apply data quality checks and maintain model documentation.
