Job summary

EY GDS Consulting seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design and develop ML systems, leveraging Python or R to build models and run experiments. You will apply AI/ML techniques, optimize performance, and contribute to GenAI initiatives within EY GDS's Data & Analytics team.

The role emphasizes strong statistics, software engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in writing robust code in Python or R.
• Experience with ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow or Langchain).
• Experience with Azure AI/ML Ops or Google Cloud AI/ML Ops.
• Proven experience as AI/ML Engineer or similar role.
• Understanding of data structures and software architecture.
• Strong math, probability, statistics and algorithms knowledge.
• Experience with vectorization and embedding in Generative AI (GPT, Claude, Llama).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
