Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air in Pasay City, Metro Manila, is seeking a Category Manager in Strategic Procurement. The role focuses on developing and executing sub-category strategies, driving sourcing activities, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing cost through spend analytics.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing processes, align procurement with business objectives, and mentor teams within the procurement CoE. This is a regular, individual-contributor role with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• : Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, finance, or related operational roles.
• - At least 1 year of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity
• - Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, IT, or related field
• - Strong category management and market analysis expertise.
• - Strategic thinking with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• - Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• - Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects and cross-functional collaboration
• - Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data, demand patterns, and supplier markets to support category strategy development.
• Conduct market and cost analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize total cost of ownership.
• Develop forecasts, dashboards, and analytical reports to support sourcing and contracting decisions.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Design and lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier evaluation, and negotiations.
• Develop competitive sourcing strategies and present recommendations to senior leadership with clear commercial rationale.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including contract drafting, renewals, amendments, and risk escalation when necessary.
• Support supplier onboarding and coordinate documentation, compliance checks, and system setup.
• Drive supplier performance management through regular reviews and collaboration with CoE and business units.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and internal processes.
• Facilitate effective communication and information flow between suppliers, operations teams, and procurement CoE.
• Identify and implement procurement process improvements to enhance efficiency and value delivery.

This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
