Job summary

MUJI Philippines Corp. in Pampanga is seeking a diligent store cashier to support daily sales and ensure accurate cash handling. You will process payments (cash or card), detect fraudulent bills, and prepare daily sales reports.

You will maintain change funds, oversee merchandise, assist customers, endorse cash to relievers, monitor store supplies, and help keep the counter area clean. You may supervise in the absence of the Store Head.

Responsibilities

• Attends to payment processing (cash or credit) and detects fake bills and fraud cards.
• Prepares and submits sales reports and computerized cash breakdown report.
• Maintains sufficient change fund at all times.
• Maintains smooth operations of computer machines or ECR.
• Assists in the promotion/assisting of customers/selling.
• Oversees merchandise and guards items against loss and damage.
• Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness in the counter area.
• Endorses cash to the reliever before and after taking break.
• Monitors usage and accountability of store supplies and updates replenishment as needed.
• Does bank settlements in all EDC terminals every night.
• Ensures bank change slips are complete and ready.
• Promotes all bank promotions, if any.
• Maintains logbook to note down important information and endorsements.
• Assists customers when available.
