To ensure accurate, secure, and efficient processing of customer transactions while providing courteous service and maintaining compliance with company cashiering standards and procedures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

DAILY OPERATIONS

• Follow and consistently comply with company cashiering policies, procedures, controls, and cash-handling standards.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other approved payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Encode customer purchases in the POS system and verify transaction details before completing payment.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documents for daily cashiering transactions.
• Ensure availability of cashiering forms, receipts, charge invoices, sales drafts, journals, receipt rolls, and other required supplies.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and customer-ready cashiering area.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

• Acknowledge customers promptly and provide courteous, friendly, and professional service.
• Assist customers with payment-related concerns and explain transaction details clearly when needed.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints with patience, understanding, and a solution-focused approach.
• Maintain a positive and respectful customer experience from payment through completion of the transaction.

CASH CONTROL & COMPLIANCE

• Verify cash and payment details carefully to minimize errors, discrepancies, and transaction risks.
• Follow established procedures for cash counts, turn-over, documentation, and reconciliation.
• Immediately report transaction discrepancies, system issues, or unusual incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
