Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a cashier with POS experience to join our Cebu City team. The ideal candidate will handle payments, operate POS equipment, and ensure accurate pricing and receipts for every customer.

A background in cashiering and strong customer service skills are essential, as is trustworthiness and reliability. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar retail environment, good communication, and basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree (on Business course or any 4 year course)
• Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Has the ability to provide quality customer service
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry
• Average communication and people skills
• Computer literate
• Willing to work in Kasikas sa Banawa Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
