Job summary

IKEA Pasay City is seeking a part-time Cashier to join our store team. You will handle cash, process payments accurately, assist customers, and ensure the checkout is well-equipped and efficient.

We value details, service mindset, teamwork, integrity, and the ability to stay calm in busy moments. The role is approximately 25 hours per week, requires weekend shifts and public holidays, and offers benefits including leave, medical/dental, staff discounts, and meals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role within fast-paced retail.
• Keen to detail, persistent, structured and accurate.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers.
• Team player with a customer service mindset and integrity.
• Calm and capable of providing solutions in stressful situations.
• Computer literate and able to operate basic POS systems.
• High level of integrity.

Responsibilities

• Follow cash handling procedures to ensure security of money handling.
• Ensure checkout is equipped and available to help customers as needed.
• Have knowledge and confidence to make customer payments easy.
• Maintain a safe and secure IKEA store environment for visitors and colleagues.
• Enhance customer relationships at payment to drive satisfaction and return visits.
• Collaborate with other functions to improve the shopping experience and drive sales.
