Job summary

Culinary Adventures Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a dedicated Cashier to manage payments, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash and credit transactions.

You will operate scanners and POS, balance the cash register, prepare daily sales reports, and maintain orderly cashier areas, contributing to smooth guest service.

A BS Accounting degree and at least 3 years in a finance-treasury cashier role are preferred, with training in banking and EVAT regulations.

Qualifications

• Educational Attainment – BS Accounting Degree.
• Working Experience – at least 3 years in Finance-Treasury as Cashier; club/hotel operation is a plus.
• Training seminars – Banking & Finance trainings, Cashiering, EVAT regulations, counterfeit detection.

Responsibilities

• Follows Culinary Adventures, Inc. policies, procedures and service standards.
• Operates scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Balances the cash register and generates reports for credit and debit sales.
• Prepares daily Sales Report and submits to Head Cashier.
• Accepts payments, ensures prices and quantities are accurate and provides receipts.
• Follows procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or specific item purchases.
• Manages transactions with customers using POS.
• Collects payments whether in cash or credit.
• Tracks transactions on balance sheets and reports discrepancies.
• Attends daily briefing and in-house training.
• Checks the cashier booth for cleanliness and orderliness.
• Keeps clear records of payments received and notes balance payments.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Under the general guidance and the supervision of the Head Cashier and within the limits of established policies and procedures and service skills manual of Culinary Adventures Inc.; Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. Cashiers scan items, ensure that prices are quantities are correct, and collect payments.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Educational Attainment – BS Accounting Degree

Working Experience – at least 3 years working experience in Finance-Treasury Department as Cashier and or Head Cashier; involvement in a Club /Hotel Operation is an advantage

Training's/Seminars Requirement – Banking and Finance Trainings, Cashiering, EVAT Regulations, Seminar on Counterfeit Detection
