A Cashier is responsible for processing transactions, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service in retail environments, restaurants, or other establishments. They operate cash registers, handle cash, and ensure accurate transactions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Process Transactions: Scan items, total purchases, and handle payments through cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payment apps, or other forms of payment.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions about products, promotions, or store policies, and resolve any customer concerns in a courteous manner.
• Maintain Cash Drawer: Ensure the cash drawer is accurate, and handle cash transactions, issuing receipts and change as needed.
