Caregiver Referral – West Los Angeles

Right at Home, a non-medical home care provider, has a client in West Los Angeles who needs your skills today. Are you looking for a part-time job with flexible scheduling? Do you want to be a companion to an elderly person, help them prepare meals, take walks, keep the house tidy, and give them a reason to smile every day?

• Provide companionship to elderly clients.
• Help prepare meals.
• Take walks and facilitate physical activity.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client's home.
• Assist with basic personal care as directed.

Our shifts range from 2 to 12 hours, and we have opportunities as many as 7 days a week. You can choose daytime, overnight, or weekend shifts. Clients are located from the San Fernando Valley north to Redondo Beach/Long Beach south, and east to Gardena/Torrance. Frequent assignments are available in Santa Monica, Malibu, and Pacific Palisades.

Minimum Requirements:

• Home Care Aide (HCA) license issued by the CA Dept. of Social Services (10 digits, starting 750, 751, 759, 460, etc.).
• Recent TB test (within 90 days if newly licensed or within 2 years if working for another agency).
• CPR Certification.
• Optional: Valid driver's license, car registration, and car insurance to drive clients to appointments.
• 18 years or older.
• Able to speak and read English.
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Compensation: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour.
