A caregiver assists elderly, ill, or disabled individuals with daily activities, personal hygiene, medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and emotional support. Caregivers monitor health and behavior, keep caregivers and families informed, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Daily Living Assistance: Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands.
• Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and provide reminders.
• Mobility Support: Assist with walking, transferring, and other physical activities to prevent falls and injuries.
• Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide conversation, engage in activities, and offer emotional comfort to combat loneliness.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition.
• Safety & Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
• Communication: Coordinate care with doctors, nurses, and family members.
• Documentation: Keep records of care activities and client health status.

Private Caregiver Qualifications
