St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig, Metro Manila, is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to provide technical analysis and support during diagnostic cardiology procedures. You will prepare documentation, ensure equipment readiness, and collaborate with Cardiologists and nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
The role requires a B.S. in Nursing, Medical Technology, or Radiation Technology with a valid PRC license.
The Cardiovascular Technologist provides technical analysis and support during diagnostic cardiology or other procedures performed within the Department when necessary. The Cardiovascular Technologist prepares documentation of technical information in a professional and timely manner. The Cardiovascular Technologist works closely with Cardiologist, Nurses and Radiology staff to provide quality patient care and ensure smooth and efficient workflow through the department.
Responds to any unit of assignment in the HB Calleja Heart and Vascular Institute of Ancillary Services where care is required
Performs assigned procedures in the units of the Heart Institute
Maintains availability of pharmaceuticals, medical, and surgical supplies
Maintains optimal condition and functionality of equipment
Communicates to immediate superior for any concerns regarding the procedure, patients, colleagues, and operations of the unit
Ensures safety of clients and colleagues
Assists in monitoring, charging, and documentation of consumable supplies accordingly
Assumes administrative responsibilities in the endorsed by the Immediate Superior
Delivers quality patient care and safety before, during, and after procedure
Assists in orienting patients to the unit set up; informs patients what to expect before, during, and after the procedure
Assists validating patients knowledge of the procedure; Reinforces information provided by the doctor prior to securing of consent paying special attention to the risks and possible complication of the procedure
Identifies individual patient condition and requirements prior to procedure
Positions patient on the procedure table accordingly
Assists in the preparation of the procedure site
Drapes patient accordingly, ensuring privacy and sterility as needed
Ensures used supplies are complete and properly accounted
Documents all pertinent events of the procedure
Facilitates the creation and completion of procedure results or reports
Performs other related tasks assigned by the Immediate Superior
Graduate of B.S. Nursing / Medical Technology / Radiation Technology
With valid/active PRC license
Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City
