Job summary

Staffing For Doctors in the Philippines seeks experienced Referral & Authorization Coordinators to join our Cardiology practice. This dedicated specialist role owns the complete lifecycle of referrals and prior authorizations—from intake to scheduling and resolution.

You will work independently in Epic EMR, verify insurance eligibility, navigate payer rules, coordinate with referring provider networks, and keep patients informed throughout the clearance process.

Qualifications

• Epic EMR expertise with referral and authorization workqueues.
• Experience in enterprise medical group or health system settings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required for some openings.
• Prior cardiology practice or multi-specialty group experience preferred.
• Exposure to Medicare Advantage, state Medicaid and major payers.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle referral management from intake to authorization closure.
• Submit and track prior authorizations for cardiology visits.
• Verify insurance eligibility, copay, coinsurance and network benefits.
• Coordinate with referring offices and patients on coverage steps.
• Manage Epic referral workqueues with accurate data entry and documentation.
• Proactively contact insurers to resolve delays and clarify medical necessity.
