Job summary

UERM Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Laboratory Technician to assist in performing technical procedures in the Cardiovascular Laboratory Department. The role involves preparing patients, ensuring safety, and monitoring during procedures with careful documentation of results.

The candidate should hold a relevant Bachelor's degree, preferably with 1–2 years of related experience, and be available as a reliever with ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree; Accreditation (if required).
• Preferably with at least 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• One (1) Reliever position available.
• Can start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history, orient and prepare patients for procedure.
• Perform technical procedures and ensure patient's safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Monitor patient prior to, during and after procedure, and promptly report any findings in the patient's condition.
• Provide post-procedural instruction to patient.
• Prepare initial interpretation of the results of procedure.
• Assist doctors in the preparation and reading of official results.
• Coordinate with patients and others on queries and matters concerning the Lab.
• Prepare, maintain and monitor patient's records and laboratory documents.
• Prepare, maintain and monitor supplies, medical equipment and instruments, and procedure area.
• Adhere to proper safety precautions and infection prevention and control.
