A car detailer is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles to ensure they are in top condition. This includes washing, waxing, and polishing the vehicle’s exterior; vacuuming and shampooing the interior; cleaning windows; and performing minor touch-ups. A car detailer may also apply protective coatings, such as sealants or leather treatments, and ensure that the vehicle is free from dirt, stains, and debris. Attention to detail, knowledge of cleaning products and techniques, and the ability to work efficiently are key attributes for this role, as is the ability to inspect vehicles for any signs of damage or areas requiring further attention.
