Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior High School graduate required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related hospitality role.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, cuisine, beverages and wine.
• Able to operate a POS system and handle multiple tasks.
• Customer service oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the outlet’s cleanliness and orderliness by checking the stations and organizing mis en place to offer prompt and efficient service and ensures smooth flow of operations
• Assists in the reception area activities by handling guest inquiries and reservations to ensure that each guest receives prompt, courteous, and personalized service
• Promotes and upsells menu items and beverages by informing the guests about menu specials, limited-time offers and promotions to maximize revenue and encourage additional sales
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card, and gift card transactions to ensure correct settlements and accurate collection of all sales.
• Manages bar operations, which includes setting up the bar, performing daily inventories and monitoring breakages, and ensuring the proper functioning of bar equipment to uphold operational efficiency and enhance guest experience.
• Prepares a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with unique flair, ensuring quality standards and maximizing profitability through promotions.
• Attends to guest needs throughout their meal by regularly checking on tables to address any needs or concerns, refill drinks to ensure high level of guest satisfaction.
• Reset tables efficiently to accommodate waiting parties by ensuring server stations are adequately stocked with napkins, cutleries and condiments to meet guest needs and maintain a smooth flow of table service.
• Works effectively with kitchen staff and management by communicating clearly with team members to coordinate service and address any issues that arise to ensure positive work environment and guest experience.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Management

I. BASIC PURPOSE / JOB BRIEF:

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

• At least a Senior High School graduate

Experience Requirement:

• With at least one (1) year of experience working in a related industry.

Skills and Attributes:

• Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge in MS Office (Office Word/Excel/Power Point/ Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of Cuisine, Beverages and Wine
  • Able to efficiently understand, use and navigate Point of sales system
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, such as cashiering, taking orders, and attending to various tables efficiently.
  • Conversant with bartending
