Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years purchasing experience in a cafe or F&B business (ensures familiarity with cafe operations).
• Strong knowledge of cafe supplies, ingredients, and vendor coordination.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Proficient in MS Excel or inventory/purchasing systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and coordinate with suppliers for cafe and kitchen requirements
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor deliveries
• Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate pricing when needed
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment
• Ensure timely procurement of ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies
• Compare supplier quotations and maintain updated supplier records
• Coordinate with operations team regarding daily purchasing needs
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of delivered items
• May occasionally be required to visit suppliers or purchase supplies outside the office/store when necessary
