As Cadet Engineer , you will master plant system functionality, operational standards, and maintenance procedures. Guided by sound engineering principles, safety regulations, and company policies, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Technical Training and Operation & Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

System & Operational Mastery: Learn and apply plant system functionality, equipment operation standards, and maintenance procedures. Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities by observing, supporting, and progressively building hands-on involvement. Actively participate in special projects assigned by leadership to apply and reinforce acquired engineering knowledge and skills.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all tasks align with sound engineering practices, safety codes, and organizational policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Departmental Immersion: Partner with Technical Training, O&M, and key functional groups to observe, learn, and execute duties accurately and safely.

Professional Growth: Actively engage in technical training and mentorship to continually sharpen your engineering skills.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Registered Mechanical Engineer/Registered Electrical Engineer

Technical / Functional Skills:

Good oral and written communication skills paired with strong interpersonal and team-oriented abilities to effectively engage across departments.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to support troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and operational improvements.

Practical computer skills for documentation, system reporting, and operational workflow tracking.
