Job summary

SYSTRA Philippines is seeking a CAD Team Lead to manage CAD drafters, standardize modeling workflows and ensure high-quality outputs for infrastructure and building projects. You will supervise CAD Technicians, plan activity, review drawings, and drive adherence to CAD standards.

You will coordinate with design engineers and project managers, resolve complex drafting issues, and mentor a team to deliver on time and within budget. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of CAD modelling experience on infrastructure or building projects.
• Proven experience with CAD workflows and drafting standards.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Drafting team management including activity planning and reviewing drawings.
• Supervise CAD Technicians and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare 3D models for clash detections and ensure QC across drawings.
• Coordinate with other CAD Leads to ensure consistency of presentations.
• Review CAD outputs and ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.

Context

A CAD Team Lead manages CAD drafters, standardizes modeling workflows, and drives quality assurance. Bridge between design engineers and production, template creation, and resolving issues to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Missions/Main Duties

• Responsible for the drafting support of his team, including activity planning and the review of drawings ensuring deliverables are as per applicable standards, codes, specifications, etc.,
• Supervise and support task assigned to CAD Technicians,
• Resolve technical and complex issues,
• Supervise and prepare 3D models for clash detections,
• Coordinate with other CAD Leads to ensure consistencies of presentations across drawings and ensure drafting Quality Control (QC) is implemented,
• Review and checking CAD outputs and ensuring that CAD Technicians apply Lessons Learned and follow CAD Standards, drawing processes and drawing production guidelines

Profile/Skills

Education:

Engineering Degree/Diploma or accredited certificate of drafting course.

Skills

• Act as the go-to expert for CAD workflows and standards.

Essential

• Demonstrated experience with CAD workflows and standards.
• Strong written and spoken English;

Desirable

• Experience on rail, tunnels, bldgs infrastructure.
• Exposure to CAD software.
• Experience in Project management and Coordination
