Job summary

Baldo Construction and Development Corporation is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter for our design team in the Philippines. You will prepare construction drawings, assist engineers, and communicate project details with contractors to ensure accurate, on-time deliverables.

The ideal candidate has a civil/architectural degree and 2–3 years of experience with CAD software, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills. On-site exposure and willingness to longer hours are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or College Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural or Interior Design.
• Minimum 2-3 years work experience in construction drawings.
• Proficient in numbers, quantification, accuracy, and completeness of work
• Computer literate and knowledgeable in operating CAD software.
• Organized, Systematic and has keen eye to details.
• With good verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferably with minimum on-site construction exposure.
• Willing to work in longer hours.

Responsibilities

• 1. Mainly prepares as-built plans for the designated Project Site.
• 2. Responsible for preparation of design concepts, images, and materials for project presentation.
• 3. Communicates with contractors and all project personnel for client's requirements and project progress.
• 4. Performs CAD drawings for engineering and structural designs. Proposes designs and drawings.
• 5. Plots the final engineering drawing using standard format.
• 6. Liaises with engineers in producing CAD drawings.
• 7. Produces sections and details to demonstrate practical installations.
• 8. Maintains and stores CAD drawings efficiently.
• 9. Keeps directory of drawings up to date and documented.
• 10. Prepares and submits reports and documents required by the Management.
• 11. Performs other management mandated functions.
