Job summary

JFE Techno Manila, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Drafting Technician to support equipment fabrication projects. You will create 2D drawings and basic 3D models to assist piping design and general arrangements, under project planning and documentation tasks.

Education in Mechanical Engineering Technology is required, with proficiency in AutoCAD 3D/2D and MS Office. Fresh graduates are welcome, and you must be willing to study Japanese to communicate with the Japanese staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technology or its equivalent related to Engineering Design and Drafting. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 3D/2D and Microsoft Office.
• Must be willing to study the Japanese language to have better communication with the Japanese staff.

• 2D Drawing works for Equipment Fabrication, Loading Data, Foundation Drawing, Piping Isometric Drawing, Piping Support and General Arrangements Drawing.
• 3D Modeling (Equipment, Piping, Support, Structures) to support Piping Design Engineer for planning and detailing but not limited to “Waste to Energy Incineration Plant” under Environmental Piping Section.
• Material take-off, Drawing extraction works and other Project documentation.
