Job summary

Astrome in the Philippines is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop and optimize software for embedded hardware, focusing on C++ on Linux and real-time environments.

You will work with I2C/SPI/UART protocols, implement device drivers, and contribute to hardware bring‑up and validation. Strong debugging and system thinking required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in ECE/EE required.
• Strong knowledge and 2 years of experience in C++ programming (not just C).
• Hands-on Linux programming experience.
• Hands-on embedded device experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement program and process improvements.
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded software across hardware and firmware layers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to bring up and validate new boards.
