Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Philippines is seeking a Buyer IV to lead a sub-team of Buyers, drive on-time supplier delivery, and manage inventory targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s or diploma with experience in purchasing, MRP knowledge, and strong negotiation/communication skills. UCT emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science / mathematics / Materials / Industrial Engineering.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering.
• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent.
• 6 years of relevant work experience with bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years of relevant work experience with diploma.
• Knowledge of MRP system is advantageous.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sub-team of Buyers to achieve 100% On Time Delivery and meet inventory goals.
• Drive purchasing KPIs such as Past Due PO, Unconfirm PO, PPC, and cost setting.
• Ensure compliance of purchase data (LT, AVL, SPQ/MOQ) in the system.
• Supervise and evaluate purchasing activities to avoid production disruption.
• Improve the escalation process to resolve material shortages timely.
• Establish and maintain good supplier rapport for reliable delivery.
• Support and respond to purchasing needs promptly.
• Assess material positioning risks for critical parts by customer.

UCT is looking for a talented Buyer IV to join us in Philippines!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• To lead a sub team of Buyers to achieve the key performance – 100% of supplier On Time Delivery (OTD) performance and manage the Inventory goals and target.
• To drive Purchasing KPI such as Past Due PO, Unconfirm PO, PPC (Pull in, Push out and Cancellation
• Ensure the compliance of purchase data such as LT, AVL & SPQ/MOQ and cost setting as required in the system.
• Perform, supervise and evaluate sub team purchasing activities to ensure no disruption of supply to production plan and loading.
• Manage/improve the escalation process to resolve material shortages in timely manner.
• Establish and maintain good rapport with suppliers to ensure the effectiveness in delivery
• Support and responsiveness.
• Risk Assessment of material positioning for important / critical parts by customer

Educational/Certification Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science/ mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering.
• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent

Experience Requirement

• At least 6 years working experience for bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical or equivalent.
• At least 10 years working experience for Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MRP system will be advantageous.
• Able to perform in fast paced environment; Preferably experience from manufacturing environment.
• Possess good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
