Job summary

RS2 SOFTWARE PLC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the Platform Product Owner in delivery planning and change control through RS2’s Release Management process.

You will manage client/product delivery schedules, review requirements, and prepare functional and regression tests. The role involves coordinating releases, liaising with delivery and technical teams, configuring RS2 software, and conducting knowledge transfer and training as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing client/product delivery and release schedules as per SLAs.
• Review requirements and High Level Test Cases to prepare functional and regression tests.
• Coordinate releases and ensure quality under pressure to meet SLAs.
• Act as central point of contact for delivery of changes via email/meetings.
• Liaise with Client Delivery and Technical teams to ensure specs are met.
• Configure RS2 software per requirements documented by the Platform Product Owner.
• Perform release coordination, documentation, and regression testing.
• Provide knowledge transfer to Support Teams.
• Deliver releases and support during implementation.
• Participate in onsite workshops or training as requested.
• Analyze large data sets to inform product decisions in collaboration with Data Engineering.

About the Role

Senior Business Systems Analyst will assist the assigned Platform Product Owner in establishing and managing the client/platform product delivery plan for a portfolio of RS2 clients/platform products. The job holder will ensure a seamless delivery of all sources of change in a controlled manner via RS2’s Release Management process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing client/product delivery and release schedules for projects, changes, service requests and mandatory releases as per clients’ SLAs
• Review client/product requirements analysis and High Level Test Cases in order to prepare functional and regression test cases and viable acceptance criteria
• Ability to work under pressure to agreed SLAs whilst maintaining acceptable quality standard
• Act as a central point of contact (via e‑mail, teleconferencing and on‑site workshops) for the delivery of specific changes upon which he/she is working
• Liaise with Client Delivery and Technical teams to ensure compliance with the client business requirements and agreed specifications
• Configure the software systems developed by RS2 according to requirements documented or reviewed by the Platform Product Owner
• Perform release coordination, documentation, version control and regression testing
• Provide knowledge transfer to Support Teams or any other team as required
• Deliver release to clients and provide support during implementation
• Participating in onsite support, workshops or training as per clients’ request
• Evaluates large data sets formulated in conjunction with the product and applies the results in influencing the direction that other RS2 departments take as well as informing decisions of the business. At this capacity, he/she also works closely with other Data Engineering departments in order to develop core data sets that promote accurate product analyses.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Business and IT or an equivalent professional qualification
• Preferably should have a good knowledge of the payments industry and 2 years of working experience in the payments/fintech industry
• Must be proficient in SQL Language
• Proficient in testing methodologies and test case execution/ verification with an eye for details
• Should be familiar with standards associated with IT practice nationally and internationally
• Must be able to facilitate remote and face to face client meetings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for this role
