Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Senior Risk & Continuity professional to collaborate with the Business Risk Planning and Continuity Management Manager. You will help strengthen governance and sustainability of the company’s risk and business continuity frameworks, ensuring integration with strategic and operational planning.

The role requires deep knowledge of enterprise risk management, ISO standards, and continuity management.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, and management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• Solid knowledge of risk management frameworks and relevant standards (ISO 31000, ISO 27000, COSO, FM Global).
• RM certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Business Continuity Management, BS25999/ISO 22301.
• Power industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in improving governance and sustainability of risk and continuity frameworks.
• Coordinate monitoring and reporting of top risks and loss drivers.
• Integrate risk planning and continuity requirements into planning processes.
• Support unified risk, continuity, and crisis management approaches.
• Ensure alignment of resilience initiatives with company direction with CSUs and BGs.
• Provide administrative support to the Board Risk & Reputation Management Committee.
• Oversee risk avoidance, reduction, and acceptance actions to strengthen resilience.
• Support risk transfer activities and insurance documentation for the captive company.

Job description

The position is responsible in collaborating the Business Risk Planning and Continuity Management Manager in the following areas:

• Assist in implementing improvements to the governance and sustainability of the Company's Strategic, Operational, Project Risk Management, and Business Continuity Management frameworks.
• Coordinate and maintain systems and processes for efficient monitoring and reporting of the company's strategic/top risks, key risk and loss drivers, including emerging threats and opportunities.
• Facilitate the integration of risk planning and business continuity requirements into the company’s operational and strategic planning processes.
• Support the execution of unified approaches to risk management, business continuity, and crisis & incident management.
• Ensure alignment of risk and resilience initiatives with company direction by coordinating with relevant CSUs and BGs.
• Provide administrative support to the Board Risk & Reputation Management Committee, including preparation of materials and coordination of sessions.
• Oversee the implementation of risk avoidance, reduction, and acceptance actions to strengthen organizational resilience.
• Support risk transfer activities, including coordination of insurance-related requirements and documentation for the insurance captive company.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least five (5) years professional experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, and management systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
• Good working knowledge of Risk Management, ISO 31000, ISO 27000, COSO standards, FM Global, other risk engineering standards
• With RM certification preferred
• Knowledge of Business Continuity Management, preferably the BS25999/ISO 22301 standard
• Power Industry experience preferred
