As a Business Process Engineer, you will help design, build and run intelligent automation solutionsfor our clients andthatwill improvehow our HR, IT and Financeback‑officeteamswork. You will work closely with the BPE Director and business stakeholders to document processes,identifyautomationopportunitiesand implement RPA and agentic AI workflows. This role ishands‑on, combining process analysis, solution configuration and testing to deliver measurable efficiency,qualityand experience improvements.
What You’ll Do:
- Support process discovery by documentingcurrent‑stateprocesses using standard methods (e.g.process maps, BPMN diagrams, SIPOCs, SOPs).
- Analyseprocesses toidentifysteps suitable for automation and simplification.
- Lead the design and configure RPA and agentic AI workflows
- Build,testand deploy automation solutions using approved platforms,toolsand standards.
- Develop andmaintaintechnical and process documentation for all automations (design specs, configuration guides, test cases, runbooks).
- Execute unit,systemand user acceptance testing for automation solutions; capture and resolve defects.
- Monitor automated workflows in production, troubleshootissuesand implement fixes or enhancements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by collecting data, measuring automationperformanceand suggestingoptimisationopportunities.
- Work withcross‑functionalstakeholdersto clarify requirements andvalidatesolutions.
- SetBPEteamtechnicalstandards, including development guidelines, access controls, change management and testing practices.
- Support benefit tracking by providing data and insight on automation usage, errorratesand processing times.
- Contribute to BPE playbooks,templatesand reusable components to help scale automation delivery.
- Collaborate with theBPE Director on what process to automate, agree on what the measure of success is for those processes and activity monitor
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in business process engineering, automation development, businessanalysisora relatedfield.
- Experience with business process modelling and documentation (e.g.BPMN, SIPOC,swimlanediagrams, SOPs).
- Hands‑onexperience with one or more RPA or intelligent automation platforms (e.g.major RPA tools, workflow enginespreferably UIPATH).
- Exposure to or strong interest in agentic AI concepts (e.g.AI agents,LLM‑basedworkflows) and their integration into business processes.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services or integration techniques used to connect automation solutions to enterprise systems.
- Understanding of typical HR, IT and Financeback‑officeprocesses and common automation use cases (e.g.employee onboarding, ticket handling, invoice processing).
- Awareness of enterprise architecture, security,riskand compliance considerations when designing and deploying automations.
- Ability to write clear, structured documentation for technical andnon‑technicalaudiences.
- Ability to break down complex processes into clear steps andidentifybottlenecks, manualworkanderror‑proneactivities.
- Experienceanalysingdata (e.g.volumes, cycle times, error rates) to assessautomationsuitability and impact.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues in automation workflows and integrations.
- Capability to propose pragmatic improvements that balance quick wins withlonger‑termprocessoptimisation.
- Comfort using metrics and dashboards tomonitorperformance and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments (e.g.sprints, Kanban, incremental releases).
- Ability to manageowntasks, estimate effort and meet agreed deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to work effectively with business stakeholders,architectsand engineers.
- Openness to feedback and willingness to learn new tools,methodsand technologies, especially in AI and automation.
- Structuredapproach to work with attention to detail and quality (including testing and documentation).
- Comfortable working with distributed or offshore team members using remote collaboration tools.
- Relevant certifications in RPA platforms, BPM,cloudor related technologies are highly regarded but not mandatory.
