Job summary

Emerson Electric (Asia) Limited - ROHQ is seeking an Assistant Manager Business Intelligence and Intelligent Automation to lead the Automation Development team and partner with Operations to improve service levels, productivity, and efficiency.

You will guide the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions, mentor staff, and drive strategic initiatives across multiple technologies and functions to deliver impactful business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT support operations, project management, process improvements, or other IT related roles on project development and implementation
• Several years of progressive supervisory and leadership experience
• Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions
• Experience with PowerPlatform and other related automation tools
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or any Agile methodology

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in completing project-based assignments to deliver automated processes.
• Lead strategic initiatives on execution and implementation.
• Guide the team in designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions for the automation of existing or new processes.
• Guide the team in implementing the full life cycle of an automation solution, identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Intelligent Automation tools.
• Ensure the service level agreements are on target.
• Plan, assign, and direct work for the employees in cooperation with the manager to manage workloads and projects.
• Train new hires and ensure that they have sufficient knowledge and skills before performing their work alone/independently.
• Perform regular coaching to enhance the performance of staff and encourage participation in decision-making.
• Analyze risk and mitigate project circumstances based on impact assessment.

By joining us as an Assistant Manager Business Intelligence and Intelligent Automation,you will manage the daily operations of the team supporting Automation Development and assist Operations Manager in meeting and improving team service level, productivity, and efficiency by influencing, motivating, and guiding direct reports to their optimum performance. You will play a key role in helping transform the organization by adopting a comprehensive approach to intelligent automation.
