Job summary

Citco is seeking a Report Developer in the Philippines to join its cross-functional Reporting team. You will build BI solutions for the financial services industry, covering data integration and report/dashboard development, collaborating with senior developers and business stakeholders.

This mid-level role enables independent task work with guidance from experienced peers while growing technical ownership as you deepen the platform and domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 3+ years working experience with Power BI data modelling, DAX, dashboard design and exposure to Microsoft Fabric Gen2.
• 3+ years working experience with SSIS including data loading and REST API integration.
• 3+ years of professional experience with report development using SSRS.
• 3+ years of experience developing queries and database objects with RDBMS.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Familiarity with SSRS features (parameters, sub-reports, conditional formatting).
• Familiarity with SoapUI or Postman.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON data.
• Exposure to PostgreSQL.
• Experience working on Agile teams.
• Developing proficiency in core software development practices with guidance from seniors.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Database Development - write/maintain SQL queries, tables, views, and stored procedures for SSRS/Power BI/Qlik, optimized for reporting performance.

Report Developer

About the Role:

You will work within a cross-functional Reporting team, using agile methodologies to build Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for the financial services industry. This is a mid-level role suited for a developer who can work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating closely with senior developers and business stakeholders. You'll contribute across the full BI delivery cycle - from data integration to report/dashboard development - and are expected to grow technical ownership over time as you gain familiarity with the platform and domain.

Job Duties in Brief:

• Database Development - Write and maintain SQL queries, tables, views, and stored procedures to support SSRS, Power BI, and Qlik reports. Ensure data is accurate, well-structured, and optimized for reporting performance.

• Report & Analytics Development - Build and modify SSRS reports and Power BI reports/dashboards. Create basic data models and DAX calculations and assist with setting up datasets and dataflows in Microsoft Fabric to support ongoing reporting needs.

• Collaboration - Work closely with senior developers and business analysts to understand reporting requirements and turn them into working technical solutions. Take part in sprint planning, code reviews, and testing to help the team deliver reliable, high-quality reports.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • 3+ years working experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboard design) and exposure to Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines) - required, willingness to deepen expertise expected.

  • 3+ years working experience with SSIS, including data loading and integration with REST APIs.

  • 3+ years of professional experience with report development using SSRS.

  • 3+ years of experience developing queries and database objects with RDBMS.

  • Working knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Familiarity with SSRS features (parameters, sub-reports, conditional formatting).

  • Familiarity with SoapUI or Postman.

  • Experience with REST APIs and JSON structured data.

  • Exposure to PostgreSQL.

  • Experience working on Agile teams.

  • Developing proficiency in core software development practices - debugging, code tuning, performance, refactoring - with support from senior peers.

  • Self-motivated with good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Knowledge of the financial industry is a plus.
