HCM Nexus in the Philippines is seeking a Mid-Level BI Analyst to develop and enhance reporting solutions, focusing on Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform.

You will partner with actuarial, data, QA, and IT teams to build semantic models, automate reports, and support data-driven decisions.

The role requires 2+ years Power BI experience, 5+ years BI tooling experience, and a statistics/analytics degree; hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing reports using Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards using BI/visualization tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau.
• Experience supporting analytics or actuarial functions, preferably in an insurance environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain Power BI semantic models for reporting and analytics.

• Validate report outputs in collaboration with QA teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for internal use and UAT.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve reporting data models and architecture.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement reporting standards and support governance and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to reporting solutions.

About the role

• Required Technical Skills: Power BI Report Development, DAX, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
• Nice-to-Have Skills: SQL / Snowflake, Python for Data Analytics, Power Query, Git / GitHub, SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, Streamlit or Sigma, User Requirements Gathering, UI/UX and Wireframing.
