• 2+ years in a managerial role (REQUIRED).

Responsibilities

Product Placement, Negotiation, Sales and Distribution:

• Lead the solicitation, structuring, and negotiation of Life and NonLife insurance policies on behalf of clients, ensuring optimal coverage and competitive terms.


• Drive the endtoend sales and broking cycle — from client engagement through negotiation to closure — consistently achieving assigned sales targets and quotas.


• Collaborate with regional teams to design and deliver innovative product solutions, including new business models for distribution that leverages on e-commerce platforms.


• Identifying potential accounts/clients within ecosystems and crossselling opportunities.


• Demonstrate business and technical knowhow on digital insurance, proposing innovative approaches to product distribution and client engagement.


• Oversee complex business initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to highquality standards.


• Manage compliance requirements of insurance partners for contracting.

Risk Advisory and Claims:

• Provide sound, effective, and strategic risk advice tailored to client/partner needs, leveraging deep knowledge of insurance markets.


• Provide strategic guidance in complex claim negotiations and settlements, safeguarding client interests while ensuring fair and timely resolution.


• Exhibit proficiency in written and oral communication, producing client reports, recommendations, and presentations of executive quality.

Industry and Market Intelligence:

• Build and sustain professional relationships with counterparts across client organizations, insurers, and industry stakeholders.


• Keep regional management apprised of insurance industry/InsureTech, and digital distribution trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisionmaking.


• Assist regional management in deal structuring and engagement processes with partner carriers, insurance companies, and broking firms.


• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the local Life and NonLife insurance marketplace, leveraging this knowledge to advance MIBI and Shopee interests.

Data Analytics:

• Develop and present findings, analyses, and innovative ideas from product work or market research to senior colleagues, ensuring actionable insights support sales and business development initiatives.


• Conduct cost, claims, and utilization analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing meaningful insights to clients and management.


• Translate market intelligence and analytical findings into strategies that enhance business outcomes, strengthen distribution, and drive innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree / 4-Year Course Graduate (Banking, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance)


• At least 7-10 years of experience insurance brokerage experience in sales and/or underwriting (REQUIRED)


• Basic Life/Non-Life Courses from IIAP/LOMA or related training (REQUIRED)


• Managerial position for at least 2 years (REQUIRED)
