Job Summary:

The Business Data Analyst is responsible for transforming raw business data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the BVA organization. The role focuses on data management, analysis, reporting, and visualization to improve business performance, efficiency, and profitability. The Business Data Analyst works organization. The Business Data Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, design data models, develop dashboards, and ensure data integrity across systems. The role combines strong analytical and technical skills with business acumen, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into data models, KPis, and measurable metrics.
• Support data warehouse development and centralized data management initiatives.
• Conduct performance analysis on sales, operations, inventory, finance, and other functional areas.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and automate recurring reports.
• Ensure data governance, consistency, and integrity across all reporting systems.
• Document data definitions, KPIs, business logic, and reporting processes.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies in reports or dashboards.
• Stay updated on emerging data analytics tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query).

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, particularly Power BI.

• Solid knowledge of SQL for data extraction, querying, and transtormation.

• Understanding of relational databases (RDBMS) and data modeling concepts.

• Knowledge of data warehousing principles and ETL processes.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Educational Background:
