Job summary

Bounty Fresh Food, Inc. is seeking a BI Data Analyst to serve as the technical bridge between the BI unit, business stakeholders, and Corporate Data teams.

You will translate business needs into data requirements, support data model design, validate data accuracy, and ensure dashboards and KPI reports are built from governed, reliable sources. You will collaborate on data models, data marts, KPI datasets, and Power BI structures; validate ERP and warehouse data; perform data quality checks; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• At least 5 years of BI/Analytics or data engineering experience.
• Experience leading BI initiatives and cross-team coordination.
• Certifications in Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, or related BI tools are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The role will act as the technical bridge between the Business Intelligence Unit, business stakeholders, and the Corporate Data Architecture/Data Engineering teams. This role will translate business needs into data requirements, support the design of data models, validate data accuracy, and ensure dashboards and KPI reports are built from reliable, governed, and well-defined data sources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into data requirements, business rules, and reporting specifications.
• Collaborate with Corporate Data Architecture and Data Engineering teams on required data models, tables, views, and pipelines.
• Design and review BVA-level reporting models, data marts, KPI datasets, and Power BI-ready structures.
• Validate data from ERP, source systems, data warehouse outputs, Excel templates, and Power BI dashboards.
• Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis for reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain KPI dictionaries, data mappings, business rules, data lineage, and report documentation.
• Support the migration from manual Excel reports to automated Power BI dashboards.
• Ensure dashboards follow approved KPI definitions, reporting standards, governance rules, and access controls.
• Work with business users to understand reporting needs, process gaps, and decision‑making requirements.
• Support dashboard testing, validation, deployment, and stakeholder sign‑off.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, and data engineering concepts.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with ERP, finance, sales, inventory, operations, or enterprise data.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data marts, fact tables, and dimension tables.
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and source‑to‑target mapping.
• Experience with Power BI data modeling, Power Query, DAX, semantic models, and dashboard governance.
• Familiarity with Azure data tools, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Data Factory, or Synapse is an advantage.
• Strong skills in KPI definition, data validation, reconciliation, and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical data specifications.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytics Engineering, or Data Solutions.
• Experience leading BI/data initiatives and coordinating with business, IT, data, or enterprise system teams.
• Certifications in Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence are an advantage.
