Job summary

Atticus Advisory Solutions Inc. is seeking a senior Business Central Functional Consultant to deliver end-to-end ERP implementations and ongoing optimization across Financials, Distribution, Project Accounting, and Field Service.

You will lead discovery, configure systems, migrate data, train end users, and drive post-go-live improvements from a remote setup aligned with Pacific Time. You will mentor clients, shape best practices, and collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in ERP implementations with 2–3+ years hands-on Business Central.
• Experience leading implementations, fit-gap, scoping, and client training.
• Strong domain depth in Financials and at least one of: Distribution, Project Accounting, Field Service.
• Excellent stakeholder facilitation, written documentation, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops, map current/future processes, and produce fit-gap and SOWs.
• Configure Business Central (companies, ledgers, subaccounts, posting rules, item/warehouse/lot/serial, projects/tasks, service orders, schedules, security).
• Build artifacts: Inquiries/Queries, dashboards, KPIs, financial reports, Import Scenarios, Report Designer layouts; integrate via OData/REST for Power BI/automation.
• Manage data migration (templates, cleansing, trial loads) and UAT.
• Train end users and admins; document SOPs and runbooks.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement (ticket triage, enhancements roadmap).
• Partner with Sales on scoping/demos and with Product/Engineering on integration and reporting needs.

Role Overview:

The Business Central Functional Consultant will deliver end-to-end ERP implementations and ongoing optimization across Financials, Distribution, Project Accounting, and Field Service. In this role, you will lead discovery through hypercare while configuring systems, building artifacts, managing data migrations, and training end users. Additionally, you will shape best practices, mentor clients, and collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to support client growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Comfort building Queries/Dashboards/reports/Import Scenarios/Report Designer and using OData/REST for analytics/automation.

• Customization/developer skills to create enhancements to Business Central

• Excellent stakeholder facilitation, written documentation, and change-management skills; proven project ownership.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation experience (Financials, Jobs/Projects, Service Mgt., Warehousing).

• Certifications: Microsoft BC Functional Consultant Associate.

• Tools: Velixo/Excel reporting, Power BI, Power Automate.

• Experience in owner-led mid-market services or manufacturing/distribution.
