Under the supervision of the Analytics & Automation Manager, this key position is responsible for the creation, design and testing of dashboards. The Business Analyst provides data driven analysis that assists in decision making and recommendations to business units.
Duties & Responsibilities:
PROCESS INTERFERENCE
- Plans and manages ETL and Dashboard Projects.
- Creates, gathers, and consolidates business data and transform them into insight-generating analyses and reports for decision-making that will be used by the shareholders.
- Aggregates raw data from different data sources within the company using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programs/ Tools and SQL queries as needed and as applicable.
- Creates Dashboards and analyses data using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Power BI and/or any applicable Business Intelligence (BI) Tools.
- Creates project schedule, maintains and updates the project plan as initiated by PMG – Analytics & Automation, for implementation with Production and other cross-functional groups.
- Maintains and updates documentation related to assigned Analytics & Automation processes and Projects to ensure standard compliance of all groups.
- Creates Training Materials and trains new Business Analysts in basic ETL and dashboard creation.
REPORTS AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT
- Reviews and updates daily reports, including trends, to enhance the system to develop and deliver proposals, progress reports, and presentations, and ensure that data is available to every member of the organization.
COMMUNICATIONS
- Works closely with process owners and cross-functional group partners to ensure action plans are monitored through project milestone and gate reviews and recommends process improvements.
- Presents findings, recommendations and best practices to management and business unit leaders across the organization to help the look on the overall effectiveness of the program.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course preferably related to Information Technology and Business Management. Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering an advantage.
- 3 years of experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, and equivalent), Business Process, Data Analytics, or Operations Management.
- High proficiency level with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel. Advanced Excel formulas, Visual Basic, macros, and Charting.
- Exposure in BPO and/or Manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Basic to Average Proficiency Skill Level with coding programs such as ETL, SQL - SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is an advantage.
- Project Management experience is a plus.
