Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. in Mandaluyong, Philippines, seeks a seasoned Business Analyst on a 6-month contractual basis with hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH).

You will gather business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and coordinate with IT and Product teams to define MVPs and backlogs. Applicants should have hands-on in-house development exposure and experience across SDLC methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or related role.
• Hands-on experience in in-house system development projects.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Gather business needs, analyze stakeholder pain points, and translate goals into detailed requirements.
• Create and maintain PSD/FSD documents and manage requirements with BPMN, SWOT, and impact analysis.
• Serve as the main liaison between business units, Product Managers, and IT; define MVPs and manage backlogs.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with strategic vision and regulatory standards.
• Execute daily IT BA tasks, escalate risks, share methodologies with peers, and pursue development and certifications.

Location:

Philippines – Cybergate, Mandaluyong

Work Schedule:

Dayshift – HYBRID (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH)

Type of Employment:

Contractual (6 month-initial contract, possible absorption/extension depending on performance)

Salary:

50K- 80K

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Holder

• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role.

• With hands-on experience in in-house system development projects, specifically someone who has been actively involved in custom application development.

• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.

• Familiarity with software development life cycle

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather business needs, analyze stakeholder pain points, and translate high-level goals into clear, detailed, and testable functional/non-functional requirements using visual models and process flows.

• Create and maintain high-quality, version-controlled documents—including Project Specification Documents (PSD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD)—and manage requirements using tools like BPMN, SWOT, and impact analysis.

• Serve as the main point of contact between business units, Product Managers, and IT development teams; define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), prioritize project backlogs, and run walkthrough sessions for requirement sign-offs.

• Ensure all proposed technical solutions and feature specifications align with the company's strategic vision as well as legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.

• Execute daily tasks according to IT BA leadership priorities, **escalate risks, share methodologies with peers, and pursue ongoing professional development and certifications**.
