Job summary

White & Case Global Operations Center Manila is seeking a Business Analyst for BI and Insights. You will translate business needs into Power BI dashboards, collaborate with Finance, HR, BD and Marketing, and deliver data-driven analyses.

You will work in a hybrid setup in Makati, join an Agile team, and contribute to data governance and adoption efforts while supporting stakeholders with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on business analysis experience with requirements gathering and insights.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into clear BI solutions and dashboards.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel and DAX; familiarity with SQL and cloud analytics is a plus.

Business Analyst – Business Intelligence and Insights (BI)

Makati City | Full Time | Hybrid

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our BI function and help drive data‑driven decision-making across the firm. This role serves as a key partner to stakeholders, providing first‑level support for BI reports, ad hoc analysis and data visualizations, primarily in Power BI.

Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering and translating business requirements into clear, actionable BI solutions, with a strong focus on Finance, HR/People, BD & Marketing and Knowledge data
• Preparing ad hoc and standard analyses with commentary and recommendations, and identifying trends, patterns and insights that support business performance
• Working in an Agile environment (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), managing backlog items and iteratively improving dashboards and reports in collaboration with developers and data engineers
• Supporting data quality, governance and change management activities, including user training, documentation, feedback gathering and adoption tracking

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of hands‑on business analysis experience, with strong requirements gathering, analytical and insight‑generation capabilities and effective stakeholder management.
• Strong experience with Power BI, Excel and DAX; familiarity with SQL, data warehouses/cubes and cloud analytics (e.g. Databricks) is a plus
• Solid analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills, with experience working in Agile teams.
• Good to excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Information Science or similar, or equivalent experience

• Must be amenable working on MID SHIFT; amenable to a hybrid work set‑up (3 days onsite per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
