The Business Admin Officer (Enablement and Support) is primarily responsible for providing business administration and operational support to the Digital Banking Division, with a strong focus on procurement management, budget administration, asset accountability, vendor accreditation, and business coordination activities. The role ensures the smooth and efficient execution of day-to-day administrative and operational functions, supports compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and contributes to effective resource planning and cost management across the division.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Administrative Support
- Coordinate and support the day-to-day operational activities of the Digital Banking Division to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
- Assist in budget planning, monitoring, and expense management activities, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and financial guidelines.
- Administer procurement activities from requisition and budget utilization through vendor coordination, acquisition, and asset accountability.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of divisional assets and ensure proper tracking and accountability.
- Prepare, process, and monitor document transmittals and related operational documentation.
- Conduct partner assessments and support vendor and partner accreditation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and operational standards.
- Serve as a backup for critical Business Systems functions, including people support and governance activities, during planned or unplanned staff absences.
- Provide administrative support for training requests, documentation requirements, and other divisional operational needs.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Review, enhance, and maintain operational processes, policies, templates, and support tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify process gaps, operational inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, and recommend practical solutions aligned with best practices.
- Support the adoption and application of the division's design, delivery, and operational principles within assigned responsibilities.
Training & Team Support
- Facilitate or assist in conducting orientation sessions, process briefings, and training programs related to business operations and support processes.
- Promote awareness of and adherence to established business systems policies, procedures, and standards.
- Demonstrate and uphold the Bank's mission, vision, values, and the Platform 11 culture in all interactions and activities.
Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies relating to procurement, budgeting, accreditation, risk management, and audit.
- Monitor compliance obligations across assigned processes and support the timely completion of required documentation and reports.
- Proactively identify, elevate and help address operational, compliance, or governance issues and risks.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform other operational, administrative, and support-related functions that contribute to the objectives of the Business Systems Department and the Digital Banking Division.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Operations, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in business operations, administrative support, procurement, budgeting, or similar functions.
- Working knowledge of procurement, budget management, expense monitoring, and asset tracking.
- Basic understanding of compliance, governance, and operational controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in banking, fintech, financial services, or a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with procurement, budget monitoring, and workflow management systems.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, and documentation requirements.
- Knowledge of process improvement practices and automation tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
