Job summary

CBRE GWS IFM PHILS. CORP. seeks a Building Engineer in Metro Manila to monitor, maintain and repair building systems such as electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance, review work orders, manage materials, and contribute to energy management while coaching others. This is a permanent full-time role with a 6-month probation and regular salary reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Electrical Engineer.
• 0–2 years of experience in Facilities/Building Management.
• Able to work 6 days with rotating AM–MID–PM shifts.
• Must have a driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and repair building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance and review work orders.
• Maintain energy management practices to minimize operating costs.
• Coach colleagues and share knowledge across disciplines.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you'll be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

Job Overview:

Perform maintenance (Preventive and Reactive) and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety

Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Perform emergency repairs as needed.

Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.

Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum

Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

Minimum Requirement:

• Must be a licensed Electrical Engineer.
• With at least 0-2 years of experience in Facilities/Building Management.
• Can work 6-days, and should be amenable to shifting schedule (AM - MID - PM)
• Knowledgeable with 52-week PM calendar.
• With driver's license
