Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer in Taguig City, Philippines to monitor, maintain and repair building system operations across plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.

You will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, providing preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy efficiency improvements while ensuring compliance with laws and codes.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Ability to create and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Familiarity with energy audits and energy-saving measures.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot and repair building systems: Identify and fix issues with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance: Schedule and conduct regular maintenance tasks to prevent system failures.
• Inspect and test systems: Regularly inspect and test building systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Collaborate with other teams: Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to design and implement building system upgrades.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans: Create and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance.
• Conduct energy audits: Identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and implement energy-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations: Ensure building systems comply with relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
